About Eagle Bay

A little history

Our community has gone through many changes through its inception. We have provided a little synopsis of the history of our community.

Early on

Our community was originally established in 2008 but was discontinued due to the downturn in the real estate market and mortgage market crash. The existing roads, drainage, power and water lines were put in place. The failed project sat for around 8 years until Horton Homes became the established builder in 2016. Horton homes built 56 homes in the community including additional waterfront homes that were built by their subsidery company.

Currently

Recent improvements have been established such the installation of Cable TV and Internet services. Additional sidewalks were added, Storm drains were lowered to the road surface. Damaged concrete curbs were repaired. The gate system was recently added and landscaped areas have also been improved. New seating benches were added to the island turn around area on Eagle Bay Lane.
